Colin revels in the live experience, and this can be seen from his obvious enjoyment when playing. Delivering a solid yet melodic finger-style undercurrent to the music, Colin cites his influences as Norman Watt - Roy, John Entwhistle, Roger Waters, Geezer Butler, Tony Levin,  Peter Gabriel and Gong.

In addition to The Curvy Love Dogz, Colin also plays in Still Waters - a duo with Dave Wilkinson and Mind Warp Pavillion - an original rock band..

Colin has previously played with Insurrection, The Great Pig in the Sky, Out of the Wood, Michele Welborn and Potion, and has ‘filled in’ for Electric Experience, Giles Hedley, Togmor, John Howarth, Taylor'd Country and Bedside Manor. Colin plays Fender, Musicman, Warwick,  and Andy Viccars basses through David Eden, Markbass and Trace Elliot amplification.
