Dave started playing sax as a third instrument at school after the 'cello and clarinet. He played in various dance bands and as well as having a good ear for  melody, he has his Dad to thank for his ability to 'make up stuff on the spot'.  

Dave gave up playing sax after he left school, but started playing guitar (badly) in a band with his brother. He took up the sax again in the late 70's playing with 'In The Dark' and 'My Finest Hour' in the early eighties.

A wife and kids meant Dave had to take a break from playing for a while until he got his arm twisted to play again in the late 90's, where he crossed paths with Colin.

Dave played for a couple of years with 6-Pack. And is currently enjoying life with The Curvy Love Dogz! and Crush. Dave’s taste in music is eclectic and he lists his influences as Grover Washington Jnr. and Dave Sanborn.
